Ashly Ann's Hands Massage Therapy was founded in 2004 by Ashly Ann Bartholomew it was born out of the closing of Celestial Body Spa Inc., previously located in Northern New Jersey. The Spa was created in 1997, and at the time was predominately medical massage. The business existed in Chiropractic offices and then came to be a full service spa in Bloomfield New Jersey. It closed in 2004 and Ashly moved to Connecticut. The dream lives on in a vision of creating a massage experience that heals body, mind, and spirit. Ashly Ann Bartholomew Ashly Ann has been a massage therapist for 27 years. She graduated the, Academy of Massage Therapy in Northern New Jersey. Completing 575 hours of training and graduating in the top percentile of her class. Continuing her education at Healing Hands Institute for Massage Therapy Washington Twp., NJ in Aromatherapy. North Jersey Massage Training Center, Parsippany NJ in Medical Massage. Brandt Center for Hypnosis, Livingston NJ and is a Certified Hypnotherapist and is currently a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. Usui Shiki Ryoho, instructor Pat Sullivan in Verona NJ, and is a certified Reiki. Master. Ashy Ann is a proud member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and active member since 1997. She Is fully insured and Connecticut State licensed #4913 Massage Therapist. Passed both the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork and the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage with the highest passing grades. Sat on the Advisory Board for the Helma Institute of Massage 2006 – 2008. She is certified by the American Heart Association for the BLS Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) program. Ashly Ann enjoys scuba diving in her spare time. She is a PADI Advanced Open Water Certified Diver. She enjoys pottery, fibber arts, jewelry making, painting, organic gardening, skiing, swimming, hiking, sailing, camping, motorcycle riding, snow mobile riding, horseback riding, Yoga, photography and videography.
